Butterfly By Elliot L

not understanding
Life,
Is like being a caterpillar. born
TO
Believe.

To
Grow up.
Becoming something that you are. but what if
you don't know,
Who
You
Are.
what if the colors that you are showing,
aren't the ones you want to be showing.
But is it all for nothing?
Becoming a butterfly. is it that
Great?
what if you want, but cannot
Hide. running from all the terrors deep inside.
maybe you are a moth. an
Outcast
WHY. is being a moth so bad?
i want to show, my
True colors.
believe to grow, become the moth you really are.

1. THIS IS NOT MY WHAT I NEED TO SAY POEM THAT ONES BELOW THIS ONE!
2. the grammar i did in this one is the way i wanted it to be ^^ (hehe)

I Didn't Say what I Needed to Say By Elliot L

Rivers of sand disperse down my face,
Leaving trails of erosion and drought.
I didn’t say what I needed to say

A tree has sprouted and has grown strong in time,
Spring brings hope and showers of joy,
A cold harsh winter comes and destroys life’s work.

A sponge absorbed with her essence,
used to cleanse the Past.
Now dried and left to crack, under the baking sun.

The rope of life, out of my grasp,
My hands are sweaty, desperately trying to reach.
Trying not to strangle myself with my guilt.

I said I loved you,
She said she loved me too. The time that was spent, will
Never come back. Life is harsh and so was our love.
I couldn’t say what I needed to say.

I want to know the following:
Did I get the message of the poem out?
Did it make sense the way it ended?
